Thank you for participating in the First King’s Court Showcase Homes Tour to benefit Sharing Connections Furniture Bank!
As a result of your support, over 2,900 attendees toured the two King’s Court Builders Showcase Homes, one in Naperville and the second in Elgin, during the three week period. Tour proceeds, which totaled over $20,000, will help Sharing Connections Furniture Bank provide local families living in poverty with furniture and home furnishings.
Leeanne McGrath, our Founder, expressed the organization’s appreciation saying, “We are most grateful to receive this financial support. It will help us continue our efforts to strengthen our community. This event demonstrates that good things happen when concerned people gather for a common purpose.”
Sharing Connections Furniture Bank’s mission is to encourage self-sufficiency for our clients while preserving their dignity and providing them hope. Our primary business is to collect and distribute furniture and other basic necessities to make a home for families and individuals in need. Sharing Connections Furniture Bank further provides community education and networking opportunities in the support of our primary business. Through respectful interaction with partners in the community and our belief in the goodness of people, we help others.
In addition to the tour, raffle ticket proceeds and generous donations, Sharing Connections Furniture Bank is delighted with the increased exposure for their organization. Our pickups and drop offs for furniture have increased dramatically and we are thrilled to be able to serve a larger client base in a more timely manner.
Thank you for your involvement and support that made this such a great success!
