We are always looking to develop new relationships that enable us to better serve families in our community. However, it is important that we qualify and maintain a personal relationship with the organizations that refer clients to us as we have a responsibility to our donors to serve those that are in need of the service we provide.

Jan.-May 2013 Stats Used

What are the clients saying?
An important part of serving our clients is reaching out to them to find out how the experience was for them. On February 1st, 2013 we incorporated a client survey where they can share their level of satisfaction - from being referred by you - to picking out their furniture. Below you can see how they rated their experience.
Client survey results
Quality Mark
Here is what each area represents (clients are asked to rate each area from 1=Poor to 5=Excellent):
  • AGENT (blue): How prepared were you with the information and discussion provided to you by the agent that referred you to our services?
  • QUALITY (red): How satisfied are you with the quality of the items you received?
  • SC RATING (green): How was the friendliness of S.C. staff/volunteers?

What would you guess your success rate was?
As we serve more and more families, we are always looking for ways to improve our client program so that we can respond quickly to meet the needs of those families. Quickly serving families that are in the most immediate need is a priority - and the more spots that are taken by individuals that do not show, fail to show on a rescheduled appointment, or simply don't respond to our attempts to schedule them simply extends the wait time for those ready to pickup immediately.
For example, take a look at the diagram below. What percentage do you think your referred clients fall under most often?
2013 Referral Chart
No Show by County

As we continue through 2013 and celebrate our most successful partner agents and agencies, we will also be looking for new ways to help insure that families ready to use the services can move to the top of the list. By measuring the areas of strong success, it will allow us to remove reference points from outside of DuPage County that may be extending the wait time for your clients - and improving the time in which it takes for them to receive the items they need. You can see by the chart to the left that our renewed focus on adding DuPage agents and agencies in 2013 will help focus on less wait time and more successful pickups.

"I'm an agent from outside of DuPage - how do I know what my no-show rate is?"

Part of our program growth and changes of 2013 will also include periodic improvements where you may receive updates to inform you of your current client pickup rate. Our research shows that the more informed the client is, the better chance of a successful pickup, and the higher your success rate. Your success helps insure that families are served.

Our program team is excited to work with you to quickly and respectfully serve your clients. Watch for more updates coming soon and as always we are so very happy to have you as a partner in serving the community. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
