• Warehouse Mover – This position primarily will help move large furniture and household items, restock shelves and client areas, and assist donors with the unloading of heavier items. Individual must be able to lift large furniture. This position will also assist our volunteer sorters when needed.
Volunteers

cleaning/dusting furniture
and household items, sweeping
the warehouse, and vacuuming
client waiting area. |

Greeter/Sorter – Meet and welcome
donors at the garage door,
help them unload their
donations, and provide
them with the appropriate
handout materials.

Client
Aid – (4 month required commitment) Client Aides work in the warehouse. They assist clients as they select furniture and household items that have been ordered for them. Training will be provided. When not working with clients, aides will help with other warehouse tasks such as sorting or greeting. Client Aides work with staff and other volunteers to assure that clients receive quality goods for their homes. Client Aide volunteer shifts are 9am-Noon & Noon-3pm.
Skills: It is important that Client Aides are personable and courteous with our clients. They need to be respectful and accepting of all people. The ability to speak Spanish would be very helpful, but not required. Wear sturdy shoes. |

Office Aide - (4 month required commitment) Volunteers are needed assist with basic office tasks. As an Office Aide your primary responsibility is to greet visitors and escort them to their appointments. Additional responsibilities will be to assist clients on the phone, data entry and using the client database. You need to be friendly and personable. Volunteer shifts available are from 9am-Noon and Noon to 3pm. |
