Is It Needed for Clothing?
A great point was raised after reviewing some referrals by a long time partner agent. The referral submitted was for a "clothing only" pickup - and if you tend to submit clothing only pickups you wouldn't regularly provide the client with our Client Prep Sheet. The sheet is typically provided for furniture pickups.
"So how would the client know that they are supposed to call Sharing Connections to schedule their appointment?"
That was a GREAT question. As many of you know we update the Client Prep Sheet on a regular basis, which is why we want you to always print direct from the system - but in the past, if it was a clothing pickup, it made sense to skip that step. This is probably still true today. The upside to providing your clothing only client with our regular prep sheet is that it will also provide them directions on how to get to our facility and provide them with our contact information (but they can ignore the truck and access fee requirement). You can also just inform them that they need to call us to schedule their clothing appointment. Whichever is easier for you as long as the client is aware.
Keep in mind that when a client does not call us to schedule their appointment, the referral system will automatically close out the referral after the initial 30 days.
