Leeanne McGrath, Founder
Leeanne founded Sharing Connections. She has devoted her life to her vision and works tirelessly to achieve her dream of building a self-sustaining organization. Leeanne has an extensive network of contacts covering a broad spectrum; from social service agencies, to churches, to schools and beyond. She spends a significant amount of time out in the community learning about needs and communicating our message and mission. Leeanne is a Life Trustee.
Thomas Hushek, President
Thomas is a retired Nissan automotive executive. Since his retirement from Nissan in 2007, he has been involved in numerous community activities. He has served on the inaugural Patient Advisory Board of Edward Hospital in Naperville and currently volunteers with the Hospital's Hearts Alive Program. In addition, Thomas has assisted in fundraising with Naper Settlement and is currently on the School Board of St. Ethelreda's Catholic elementary school in Chicago. In addition to serving as Board President, Tom is an active volunteer at Sharing Connections collecting furniture for our clients.
Dennis Webb, Vice President
Dennis retired from Navistar in 2002 where he served as a Vice President & General Manager. He currently serves on multiple boards in the non-profit industry, among them St. Ethelreda School, West suburban Food Pantry and Lisle Education Foundation. Dennis has been an active Board Member with Sharing Connections since 2003 and also donates his time as a lead driver to pickup donations throughout the community.
Karyn Speckels, Secretary
Karyn is the Senior Vice President, Relationship Management at Inte Q, focusing on CRM and Loyalty Marketing in the retail, grocery, financial services, and healthcare industries. She holds a BS in Marketing from the Indiana University Kelly School of Business. She has volunteered extensively at St. Raphael Church in Naperville as a Religious Education (RE) teacher, serving as Chairman of the RE Commission for two years, and has been a donor to Sharing Connections for the past 30 years. Karyn joined the Board in December, 2016 and currently serves as Secretary.
Sandi began volunteering in the office, assisting with development and programming tasks. She eventually became employed by Sharing Connections as the Program Manager where she worked directly with partnering agencies and clients. Currently, in addition to serving on the board, she can be found donating her time in the warehouse. Within her community, she has served in many areas including the Christmas Needy Family Fund, Booster Golf Outings and the local Food Pantry. Sandi graduated from William Woods University with a BS in Business Administration and Sociology. She is the mother of three sons (Jimmy, Matthew and Michael) and currently lives in Plainfield with her husband Jim.
Curt Kramer, Treasurer
Curt is the Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV), a holding company whose subsidiaries and affiliates produce International® brand commercial and military trucks, MaxxForce® brand diesel engines, IC Bus™ brand school and commercial buses, and Navistar RV brands of recreational vehicles. Prior to joining Navistar, he spent 7 years in private practice, primarily in Boston, Massachusetts and Stamford and Hartford, Connecticut. Curt received his B.B.A from the University of Miami, his J.D. from Quinnipiac University and his L.L.M. in Securities and Taxation from Georgetown University. Curt, his wife and 2 daughters live in Naperville, IL. Curt joined the Board in December 2012.
John is a Certified Public Accountant and partner of Cray, Kaiser Ltd. He has a BSC in Accounting from DePaul University and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has served a number of not-for-profit boards and is Treasurer of the Oak Brook Rotary Club, John and his wife have been involved in Sharing Connections for many years. John joined the board in June 2004 and was President of the board for six years.

Mr. Neustadt is President of Neuco, Inc. in Downers Grove. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University. He is a member of the Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) and serves as Chairman on the Controls Council Board. He volunteered at Sharing Connections with his children when they were young. Mr. Neustadt will bring his business management and finance skills to the Sharing Connections Board.
Diane is Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Corporate Leadership Center. She was previously affiliated with Northern Trust Corporation as SVP and Managing Director of their institutional investment sales division. She has a BA in Psychology from College of St. Benedict, a MBA from Loyola University of Chicago Quinlan School of Business and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. She has volunteered extensively in community outreach organizations and has been a donor to Sharing Connections for several years. She joined the Board in April 2013.
